3-Player Cribbage Rules
Cribbage works well with three players. The rules are the same as two-player cribbage with a few changes.
The deal
The dealer gives each player five cards and deals one card face down to the crib.
The crib
Each player discards one card to the crib, so the crib has four cards. It belongs to the dealer.
Play
The player to the dealer's left plays first, then play moves clockwise. When a player says go, the next player continues. The last player to play scores the go.
Counting
Hands are counted starting left of the dealer, ending with the dealer's hand and crib. The deal rotates clockwise.
Winning
The first player to 121 wins. Three-player boards have three tracks.
